If your referral meets basic eligibility requirements, we’ll ask you to make a simple introduction before confirming your referral claim. The requirements for eligible referral confirmation are simple. For a referred property to be eligible, it must be in Glow Solar’s service area, must be deemed a good candidate for solar by Glow, and must not have already been contacted by Glow or referred to Glow by someone else. You must also provide Glow with a simple introduction to the individual you refer, who must have access to (or be) the referred property’s owner and the owner must be interested in learning more about solar.
Glow will provide notice of a successful referral via email as soon as the agreement for the referred property is fully signed.
Glow customers receive a bonus because they are the best source of referrals since they can share their personal experience with solar, speak firsthand about how solar has benefited their home/business, and explain what it’s like going solar with Glow.
Glow provides referral status updates via email. Upon receiving your submission, Glow will email to let you know that your referral has been “RECEIVED” or is “MISSING INFORMATION”. After evaluating the full information, Glow will email to let you know that the referral is “AWAITING INTRODUCTION” or “NOT ELIGIBLE (PROPERTY)”. If the referred property is not eligible, Glow will provide the reason – it is not in Glow Solar’s service area, was not deemed a good candidate for solar by Glow, or was already contacted by Glow or referred to Glow by someone else. Once the introduction has been made, Glow will email “CLAIM CONFIRMED” of your claim to the referral or “NOT ELIGIBLE (INDIVIDUAL)”. If the referral is not eligible, Glow will provide the reason – either the referred individual does not have access to the referred property’s owner, or the property owner is not interested in learning more about solar. Any “CLAIM CONFIRMED” or in process (“MISSING INFORMATION” or “AWAITING INTRODUCTION”) referrals will expire two years from the date the original submission was made.
